Description

Lewis Halsey was an invited advisor for an ‘adversarial collaboration’. The American Society for Nutrition launched a call for proposals for two investigators to work together on an ‘adversarial collaboration’ topic to make good faith efforts to articulate each other's positions and work together to design methods that both sides agree constitute a fair test. The winning proposal was entitled ‘Metabolic adaptation as a driver of weight regain in individuals with obesity. Myth or reality?’. A related session is to be held at NUTRITION 2023 this July in Boston. The main element of advising occurred during an online meeting in May 2023.
