This was an invitation only interactive workshop exploring the vital connection between food and mental health. It brought together experts, practitioners, and organisations to share knowledge, develop solutions, and drive meaningful change in how nutrition supports mental wellbeing.

Facilitated by IfM Engage, in collaboration with the charities, The William Templeton Foundation for Young People’s Mental Health and Think Through Nutrition, and supported by The Waterloo Foundation, this workshop aimed to:
1. Share participants’ input on the latest insights on food, neurodevelopment, and mental health in children and young people.
2. Co-develop a framework to better understand nutrition’s role in brain health.
3. Identify practical initiatives to improve food systems and mental wellbeing.
4. Lay the groundwork for future collaborations, research projects, and policy development.
