Green Economies & Digital Transitions: Past, Present & Future Challenges and Opportunities

Activity: Participating in or organising an academic eventParticipation in academic workshop, seminar, course

Description

This conference aims to bring Roehampton’s MSc/MBA postgraduate students together to share their research projects on challenges and opportunities emerging from current pressures and debates in businesses and society regarding green economies and digital transitions (and/or the associated side effects of proposed solutions). The conferences will take a time window perspective: exploring the past, present, and future challenges and opportunities that organisations and society are facing and that may emerge from their action (or inaction). The event also aims to explore research as a problem-solving technique to businesses, researchers, and practitioners of the future, who are not only able to replicate, but also create new and better futures for businesses and societies altogether.

In this Postgraduate Poster Conference, we encourage submissions of an extended abstract based on local, regional, and global perspectives of the aforementioned problems and solutions. The conference will consist of a one-day event, composed of plenary speeches, panel debates and poster presentations aiming to contribute to discussions and insights regarding the past, present, and future of businesses and society in green economies and/or in digital transitions.
