Organising Committee, Host, and Speaker, Inaugural ISSFAL International Lipid School, Roehampton, June 13-17, 2019 (https://www.lipidschool.science/)My role was to work with colleagues at Roehampton to organise all on-site aspects of the event, including accommodation, timetabling, catering, A.V., promotional and event materials, and speaker liaison. We attracted some of the leading names in lipid research to speak, delegates from 12 countries (Australia, Canada, India, Ireland, Israel, Mexico, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland, U.K., and U.S.A.), and industry sponsorship. Lectures were recorded and are offered as an educational resource for society members. “Congrats on this educational initiative! This was a part of the ISSFAL original purpose but little has been done prior to this. I applaud making it available to all as well”, from Dr N. Salem, first President of ISSFAL.
