Description
Professor Hoskins shared her research that identifies effective strategies to support disadvantaged students to increase their level of political engagement with the UK Parliament's Education and Engagement Team. She also presented her latest G-EPIC research that will identify effective methods to support disadvantaged girls and explained how the Education and Engagement team could be involved. This Parliamentary team are now part of the advisory board for the G-EPC project and they supported the G-EPIC work by sending the call for teachers out through their networks.
Parliament's Education and Engagement Team works on behalf of both Houses of Parliament to support students and teachers in developing their understanding of Parliament and how it works
