    Invited speaker for symposium, joining panel with the former director of BBC News, Helen Boaden and Terry Phillips from CBS News. The event was led by Professor Peter Laufer, University of Oregon School of Journalism and Communication. My contribution, titled 'Unpicking "Slow"', critiqued assumptions about the concept, outlined optimal principles and provided a current example of Slow Journalism in the UK.
