Description

I have trained 15 front-line professionals (mostly school social workers and school counselors) at Caritas Salford in how to deliver Super Skills for Life (SSL). CARITAS has since administered SSL to 156 children who have been referred by their teachers as having "problem" during the transition years (i.e., from primary to secondary school). Twenty schools participated in the first round of implementation. Data from pre-post and 6-month follow-ups are ready for analyses (questionnaires from children, teachers, parents, and videos of children at pre-post assessment).
Caritas Salford continues to implement SSL in their schools for the second year.

I have trained 11 front-line professionals (mostly school social workers and school counselors) at another Caritas organization, Father Hudson. They have finished the first cohort of children in 3 schools, and will continue to deliver it in other schools.
