    Description

    Rice University has received funding to hold an 18-month long research project on waste past, present and future, which will involve collaboration between discards studies scholars across disciplines and nations. I will be participating in two workshops at Rice, several e-sessions (via Skype), the production of a website dedicated to waste studies, and the organisation of a symposium to celebrate the website launch. I was based on my work on waste to date, and foresee this as an opportunity to network with colleagues in the field, build relationships for future projects, and ultimately put together a funding bid for a project on waste literature in the UK.
