About the festival
Running for its 2nd edition, the Gjon Mili International Video Art Festival showcases to New York City and Albania audiences some of the most innovative, provocative, and exciting works of experimental Film and video from around the world. The festival embraces a boundary-pushing spectrum of work that includes Visual Narrative, Experimental Short Film, Eksperimental Short Documentary and hybrid film forms, animation, and more.
As an independent manifestation devoted to new media that provides anopportunity for emerging artists from all over the world to create,thrive and present their innovative work.
Artists Selected for the Gjon Mili International Video Art Festival
The Gjon Mili International Video Art Festival, renowned for its celebration of creativity and innovation in video art, has drawn submissions from artists worldwide. This year’s selection process was highly competitive, with only 95 artists chosen out of 2,600 applicants. These talented individuals will showcase their work in five distinct categories, representing a diverse range of artistic perspectives and techniques. The festival promises to be a vibrant platform for emerging and established artists to connect, inspire, and push the boundaries of contemporary video art.
