Clinical Setting and realization of G041 Human intervention Suite

Impact

Description of impact

Since my joining the University of Roehampton, I have improved the Clinical trial’s setting at the Life Sciences. Since 2020; my expertise and experience were instrumental in creating a suitable suite (Room G041) and a designated area in the laboratory B037 for all research work involving venepuncture procedures (phlebotomy/cannulation/infusion) at Roehampton. I am stepping up with my expertise continued to provide support with the development of risk assessments and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for clinical human intervention procedures that are performed by University employees, to ensure the risk assessments and the SOPs are reflect the standards expected in professional clinical settings.
I also advised and arranged the Good Research Practice as a part of the Research and Knowledge Exchange workshop series for 2020-2021.I am currently supporting the development of any necessary emergency procedures for activities/areas involving the performance of clinical procedures.
