Personal profile

Biography

I am a PhD student in forensic psychology at the University of Roehampton, and currently living in Wimbledon. I am keen on studying juvenile offenders, particularly in the Middle East region. My research analyses juvenile general violence profiling in Kuwait in order to enhance criminal profiling in regard to juvenile offenders. Additionally, I have been working as a crime analyst for 10 years in Kuwait related to juvenile offenders and child protection. Recently, I have joined the Journal of Investigative Psychology and Criminal Profiling (JIPCO) as a peer reviewer. As a result, I am now up to date in my specific discipline. I have also done a peer review request for a new forensic psychology book, which will be published by Routlege (2023).

I have graduated from Kuwait University KUNIV in both bachelor's (2010) and master’s degree in criminal psychology (2016) with honours degree. Furthermore, I was a member of the SCAN team in Kuwait, which combats any kind of abuses (physical- sexual - psychological) against children, and a member in a dialogue between the police of Kuwait and the United States (FBI) concerning security and training (2018 -2019). Furthermore, I am now included with expert database of (NAUSS) Naif Arab University for Security Science (2021), which is an arab organisation and the scientific body of the Arab Interior Ministries Council.
