Research interests
I am primarily interested in the cognitive and neural mechanisms associated with the perception and encoding of emotional information, particularly in relation to affective disorders such as anxiety and depression. A primary focus of my research has been the investigation of the independence of emotion processing from normal mechanisms of attention, using behavioural observations and evoked potentials.
