Biography
Dr. Aminu, is a Lecturer in Global Marketing and Contemporary Issues in Project Management at the University of Roehampton. With a diverse career spanning industry and academia, I bring a wealth of experience from various sectors, including oil and gas, banking, and healthcare, where I have led numerous projects and developed innovative strategies to tackle complex business challenges. My expertise is further strengthened by professional certifications in Project Management (PMI) and IT (ISACA), which enrich my teaching approach with practical insights and a robust foundation in both project and information technology management.
In addition to my industry background, I have held academic positions, which have allowed me to blend real-world experience with scholarly perspectives. Holding a PhD in Business Innovation and a Fellowship from the Higher Education Academy (FHEA), I am committed to creating a dynamic and engaging learning environment that bridges theoretical knowledge with practical application. My research focuses on business model innovation in SMEs, with an emphasis on sustainable and adaptable strategies that enhance resilience and competitive advantage in today’s rapidly changing markets.
