Biography
Bernardo is a Senior Lecturer of Strategy and International Management at Southlands College, University of Roehampton. He is also an external examiner for University College Cork (Ireland) and a visiting professor at Grande École Audencia (France). Before joining the University of Roehampton, he was the Head of Economics and Senior Tutor at Forward College and Assistant Professor at the University of Lisbon (Portugal). Bernardo holds a PhD in Management from Nova SBE (Portugal)
Bernardo's research interests include strategic management, focusing on corporate philanthropy. He has published a number of articles in leading academic journals, including Organization Science. His more recent research interests lie in the strategic implications of human capital legacies on SME outcomes.
