Personal profile
Research interests
My interests and expertise lie in (online) child sexual exploitation, particularly through an intersectional lens that considers cultural and societal norms (e.g., online disinhibition and masculinity) and harmful sexual behaviour among children and young people, and its impact related to trauma. So this may also include:
-
Emerging technologies (e.g., AI) and other online-specific platforms mediate and influence technology-mediated CSA
-
Assessments/interventions that are related to technology-mediated CSA or CSAM (Child sexual abuse material) - either for young people and/or adults.
Beyond this, my other interest also includes studies on male rape victims and intimate partner violence within the LGBT community.
