Biography

Dr Corrado is a Senior Lecturer and a Program Leader for the MA Early Childhood Studies program in the School of Education at the University of Roehampton. She is a Fellow of Higher Education Academy (FHEA).

Dr Corrado uses a multidisciplinary approach in her teaching and research. She has a PhD in Education, MSc and BSc (hons) in Psychology, and a diploma in Food Technology.

Previously, Dr Corrado worked in UK Mental Health Sector for almost ten years and later as an academic tutor at Middlesex University for four years (in the BA Education program).

Dr Corrado grew up in Kenya and has a tremedous social-cultural understanding of the African context which informs her teaching and research work. In the last decade, she has continued to use her expertise to impact communities in the UK, Kenya and other parts of the globe.
