Biography

Hassan is a Lecturer in HRM and OB at the Roehampton Business School. He completed his Ph.D. in Management with distinction and an additional title of Doctor Europaeus (European Doctorate) from Università Ca' Foscari Venezia, Italy. Before joining the University of Roehampton, Hassan served as an Assistant Professor at the University of Tsukuba, Japan, and Riphah International University, Pakistan. He was also an Adjunct Professor at Università Ca' Foscari Venezia, Italy.

He has been awarded a prestigious JSPS Research Fellowship at Kyoto University, Japan, and an Erasmus Mundus Research Mobility grant, hosted by Lucian Blaga University of Sibiu, Romania. He was also a Research Fellow at the University of Lisbon, Portugal.

Research interests

Hassan's main research interests lie in interdisciplinary research in management, particularly the human side of organisations. He is particularly interested in how leadership approaches and organisational behaviour practices can be leveraged within human resource management to enhance organisational effectiveness.
