Prof. Ian Abrahams is Head of Research & Knowledge Exchange in the School of Education, and Professor of Science Education at the University of Roehampton. Having previously been a teacher of physics and head of department he undertook a PhD in Education, under the supervision of Prof. Robin Millar at the University of York, and then, in 2007, moved into Higher Education. He has worked at Bishop Grosseteste University, the IoE (now UCL Institute of Education), the Universities of York and Leeds and was, for the past five years, Head of the School of Education at the University of Lincoln.
