Jeff Hilson

I am a poet, critic, editor and publisher with five published books of poetry, most recently Latanoprost Variations (Boiler House Press, 2017) and Organ Music (Crater Press, 2020). I also edited the acclaimed anthology, The Reality Street Book of Sonnets (Reality Street, 2008) and run Xing the Line, a poetry reading series in London. My academic interests include UK and US experimental poetry (The British Poetry Revival, The Objectivists, The New York School, Black Monutain poetry), poetic form (the sonnet, the prose poem, visual and concrete poetry), and humour. I welcome apllications of interest from prospective PhD students in any of these fields.
