Biography

With over 18 years of combined experience, I have successfully bridged the gap between industry, academia, and policymaking. My industry background includes building and managing service networks, developing and executing comprehensive marketing and branding strategies, and establishing a consumer research division. In academia, I have excelled as a dedicated educator and impactful researcher. I have designed and delivered specialized courses across various levels, from undergraduate to executive, in areas such as strategic management, human resource management, and entrepreneurship. My research has been published in top-tier journals including Business Ethics Quarterly, Journal of Business Ethics, Journal for the Association of Information Science and Technology, International Small Business Journal, Group & Organization Management, Personnel Review, Employee Relations, International Journal of Public Administration, Business Ethics: A European Review, Journal of the Knowledge Economy, and International Journal of Emerging Economies. My ongoing research is under consideration for publication in the prestigious Journal of International Business Studies.

I have received specialized training in policy-focused research from renowned institutions such as the National University of Singapore, New York University, RMIT University Australia, and the Asian Development Bank. These trainings have equipped me with the skills and knowledge to conduct innovative and impactful research, leading to collaborations with international development agencies like the Asian Development Bank, Better Cotton Initiative, European Commission, and the governments. My extensive research network spans over renowned universities across the USA, Australia, Europe, and China, fostering collaborative research and knowledge exchange.

As an academic leader, I have held key positions such as Director of MS Management Programs, Director of Ph.D. Management Program, and Head of Department. I have a proven ability to develop and implement strategic plans, lead curriculum development, and foster academic excellence. My expertise lies in the intersection of business, management, and public policy, with a strong focus on fostering innovation, growth and sustainability in small and medium enterprises (SMEs).
