Notable Achievements
My doctoral project, Hublink - a bespoke online case management system designed with and built for a consortium of Voluntary Sector Organisations - supported the advocacy and advice work of those organisations for 10 years, 2014 - 2024. For this entire period I gave ongoing technical support to the lead organistion Real DPO, and advised on the migration to a new system in 2024.
I was privileged to have the opportunity to present Hublink as a case study in the Participatory Design Conference (PDC) 2014 in Windhoek, Namibia, and it full findings at the PDC in Aarhus, 2016.
While at NDP Studio (2016 - 2020) I was the lead developer on a new learning platform for the Royal College of Obsertricians and Gynaecologists and Product Lead for work on web and CRM integration for the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health.
From the mid 1990s to mid 2000s I devised and organised a number of public events that discussed and interrogated emerging networked and digitial technologies. These included the "Towards the Aesthetics of the Future" events at London's ICA and the Tech_nicks series run by my production company, Media Art Projects.
In addition to my teaching at Roehampton University, I have initiated a number of co-design projects with students addressing issues including sustainability, financial wellbeing and cost of living.
