Biography

Maayan is Lecturer at the University of Roehampton’s Department of Social Sciences, London and has been a lecturer at the university since 2016. She previously taught at Middlesex University. Prior to becoming an academic, Maayan worked as a human rights practitioner in Israel/Palestine. Her hands-on experience in human rights work has led to her research on international law and politics. Her monograph on international law and politics in Israel/Palestine was published in 2016. She has also published in journals and online platforms, and spoken at national and international academic conferences.
