Biography
Prior to joining Roehampton Law School Maris taught EU law at King's College London. Additionally Maris has designed and taught several specialised LLM courses, such as International Human Rights and International and EU Migration Law as a visiting lecturer at the University of Tallinn in Estonia.
Qualifications
Maris qualified as a solicitor in 2006 in Estonia and was practicing law for several years working as an in-house solicitor at the Ministry of Education and Research in Estonia. Her expertise lies mainly in the areas of public law, administrative law and European Union law. Maris holds a PhD from King's College London in European Union law on immigration regulation and returning illegally staying third-country nationals in the EU.
