Sociology of global politics, war, genocide and racism

Research projects

I am currently working on the historical context of the emergence of 'genocide', in particular how ethnic/ national targeting came to define anti-population violence despite the links between these and class/political targeting; and on the changing character of racism in Britain and its role in Brexit and Conservative hegemony.
