Research interests
My recent ethnography-informed research investigates technological, conceptual and spatial reformulations of modern workplaces, and the redefinition of concept of work as such through 'mobile' and 'flexible' working. More specifically, within this context, my research focuses on:
- Configurations of work/life boundary management strategies of flexible workers
- Flexibility of the notion of ‘flexibility’ in the flexible working discourses
My other research interests include communication studies and i particular:
- Monologic organization and critique of dialogic approaches to organizational communication
Research projects
Reframing teacher wellbeing through photo-narratives (flexible work context)
Gamification of the workspace - Virtual Reality work meetings tools and their impact on work/life balance, employee wellbeing and power relations at work
Configurations of boundaries between work and non-work in the flexible working context - supported by the British Academy Grant
Consultancy work
I have two years of industry experience as a Consultant and Project Manager (business support for the SMEs).
