Biography

I joined the University of Roehampton in 2014 as a lecturer of Accounting and Management, having worked previously at other universities in various roles. I have extensive teaching experience at the academic level. The majority of my teaching focuses on Management Accounting, but I have been involved in teaching other accounting-related courses at the undergraduate levels.

PhD in Accounting, University of Roehampton, UK

MSc in Accounting and Finance (with Distinction), De Montfort University, UK.

BCS in Accounting, Faculty of Commerce (English Section), Zagazig University, Egypt.

Research interests

My research interest in strategic investment decision, management control, performance management, governance, integrated reporting and risk. 

Research projects

ICAEW funding project with Harris (a professor of Management and Accounting at Roehampton University, UK), Jari Huikku (Assistant Professor in Accounting at Aalto University, Finland), and Professor Northcott (a professor of Management Accounting at Auckland University of Technology, New Zealand) for project “Advances in Performance Measurement on Strategic Investment Decision-Making”
