    I am currently interested in supervising PhD projects in all areas that are associated with mathematical modelling, data science and applied machine learning which directly or indirectly achieve sustainable development goals of the United Nations and others. More specific applications include public health and well-being, climate action, aquaculture, life on land, sustainable cities, agriculture and more.

    Biography

    Dr Mohammad Farhan Khan joined the University of Roehampton London as a Lecturer in Data Science in 2022. Dr Khan completed his PhD in Electronic Engineering in 2017 from the University of Kent and proceeded to obtain approximately 4.5 years of postdoctoral experience from prestigious institutes. Dr Khan is a recipient of several awards, such as the UKC 50th-anniversary scholarship, Richard Collier scholarship, EPSRC fellowship, Innovate-UK fellowship and more. Dr Khan has secured several external fundings as Co-I and also acted as a guest editor of the MDPI Sustainability journal (SCIE). The research interests of Dr Khan lie in data analytics, mathematical modelling, soft computing, applied machine learning, image processing, applied control theory, and computational biology.
