Paul has led the development of Roehampton’s nursing and healthcare provision since January 2019 including curriculum development and approval, establishment of practice partnerships, staff recruitment and development, creation of three specialist teaching facilities and the establishment of a second campus at Croydon FE College. He has created a growing team of more than 40 staff delivering multiple programmes for 600+ students, including brand new apprenticeship provision. He is currently driving the development of Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy and Advanced Clinical Practice. Paul has been instrumental in putting Roehampton on the map as an innovative provider of high-quality community-focused healthcare education.

Paul was previously Associate Professor at Kingston University and St George's, University of London. He was BSc Course Leader for a large pre-registration nursing programme with 900 students across all four fields. He was also professional lead for Adult Acute Nursing and managed an academic team. Prior to that he held leadership roles in workforce development (WfD) - designing, delivering and enhancing courses in urgent and emergency care, acute and critical care and work-based learning (WBL). Paul has collaborated with pan-London healthcare organisations for nearly 20 years and has excellent working relationships with key practice partners. Paul has published a range of clinical articles, book chapters and textbooks.
