Tuba's research interests include migration, integration, intersectionality and belonging. Currently she is exploring these topics for Cypriot-Turkish, Turkish and Kurdish migrant women in London.
Tuba is a third year PhD candidate in School of Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Roehampton under the supervision of Leah Bassel and Bryony Hoskins. Her doctoral work explores the role of the community organisations on the feeling of integration of CTK women in London. She also holds a M.A. from Lancaster University in Diplomacy and a B.A. from Middle East Technical University, Turkey, in Political Science and Public Administration.
Tuba joined the PhD programme in September 2019. She also works as a Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) Advisor for Imece Women Center which is a women-only BAME organisation in London.
