Duration: September 2021-June 2022
The RKE project is a multi-agency project funded by the BIG voucher Scheme of South London Partnership and is led by Roehampton University and involves Kingston University and two local chambers of commerce (Merton and Kingston) as partners.
The aim of the project is to test the traditional business model of Chambers of commerce and devise the most appropriate model for engaging with/ supporting local businesses, and to clarify options for sustained income generation for Chambers of Commerce.
The project involves two phases
Phase I: A market and environment audit via desk research and qualitative survey of member and non-members to identify the future role of the chambers of commerce
Phase II: Will assess which business model fits market needs and will deliver recommendations for ‘matching model to market’.
