Froebel meets Ofsted: What makes an outstanding nursery

This project examines a nationally representative sample of reports from the school inspection body in England (Ofsted) and interviews nursery managers to identify factors predicting the rating of ‘outstanding’ given to high-quality nursery settings. This data will be crossed with data on the developmental profiles of children attending those nurseries. (£19,185, funded by the Froebel Trust).
