Growhampton's Sugarless Green Project

As part of the UK Government's drive to reduce rates of childhood obesity by 2020, the Growhampton Sugarless Green project demonstrates oral hygiene through a gardening programme for young children (around 4-12 years old). The programme is faciliated by Roehampton students offering a series of 45-min sessions for children from the local community to engage in a lesson on oral hygiene. More details can be found at:

This project is part of a larger funded knowledge exchange project 'Communiveristy - Values in Action' (£40,000) funded by The Church of England which is a collaborative effort across four church based universities to attempt to construct a toolkit which can assess the impact university outreach programmes have on local communities.
