This BERA funded research project aims to develop space to extend youth environmental activism from the public imagination to be embedded in community engagement with children, young people and families for all stakeholders to rethink education in the 21st century. This project adopts a participatory approach to working with children, young people, families and local councilors to create dialogues and debates about youth environmental activism, develop initiatives considering localities of the environmental, economic, social and political landscapes, and nurture ethical, responsible behaviour and resilience in contributing to the environmental, economic, social justices and democracies grass-rooted in the communities.
