Abstract

This chapter discusses the one year project 'Mishandled Archive', by Tara Fatehi Irani, as practising choreographies of uncertainty and interference. It proposes an archive practice that invites generative interaction with its viewers on their encounters with its images, rather than prescribing terms of classification for its contents.
