Cognitive distortions are generally considered to be a key factor in both evaluation and treatment of Child Molesters (CM). The aim of this study is to examine discriminating properties of the Abel and Becker Cognition Scale’s French version. Results, obtained through analyses of covariance, do not support ABCS’s discriminating properties. Limits and implications for future researches are discussed.
