Abstract
Swedish schools are inequitable and the idea that more exams would mitigate this is increasingly proposed. I argue that tests are not the only useful means of assessment, based on Professor Mary Richardson's book 'Rebuilding Public Confidence in Educational Assessment', discuss students' increasing feelings of stress and the issues with a 'results' but not 'knowledge' focused school.
