Abstract
This panel discussion presents provisional findings of the Froebel Trust funded research project in four early childhood settings including two kindergartens in China and two nursery schools in England. The presentation focuses the role of Chinese kindergarten education, intergenerational engagement in a Jewish ethos-based setting and Montessorian preschool practice linking to a Froebelian approach in nurturing young children’s spiritual growth, holistic learning and wellbeing.
