Abstract
This panel presentation focuses on childhood experiences in rural communities represented in children's literature in China, Greece and USA via the lenses of cultural identity, spiritual ethos, and play experiences. The panel shares the provisional findings along with suggestions and recommendations for early childhood practice and policy making in rural communities.
