Abstract

Using texts both form practical theology and contemporary systematic theology, the argument is made the there is a turn to practice in theology which is, simultaneously, a spiritual turn. A certain lack of integration of the practical and spiritual in practical theology is demonstrate, and an argue made for their better integration, The practices of qualitative research are proffered as both sociological and, when used in theology, potentially spiritual practices.
